sent sales tax receipts up
about $400,000 more than
was expected last month.
Revenue Commissioner Eu

of more than $850,000 above

Since this was more than
$400,000 above the average
gained each month this
year, Shaw could only at
tribute it to “hysterical war
buying and hoarding”. *
If the North Carolinians

The formal program will
begin at 1 p. m. From 10 a.
m. to noon, visitors will
have an opportunity to in
sspect the buildings and
grounds. Picnic lunqh will
be served.
The camp recently com
pleted its first season of op
eration. Its facilities in
clude 14 cabins, a dining
hall-assembly room, swim
ming pool, and more than
30 acres of land.
