Ket ' chen, are here for the balance of the summer. Dr. Ketchen has accepted a position at Oak Ridge, Tenn. in the fall. He formerly was Prof, of Chemis try at the Washington-Jeffer- 1 son College. Mrs. Ketchen, his bride of a month, is a graduate nurse. The bride’s parents and sister, Mr. and Mrs. A. Whit ten, of Huntington, W. Va | spent the week end at the Ketchen cabin. Rev. and Mrs. Albert Dale Haegler, and son, Tommy, ar rived last Saturday from Miami to spend several weeks at their cabin. Rev. Lau-' derdale, Fla., are occupying 1 I one of the Threadgill Cabins, 1 I and expect to be with us for several weeks. j Mrs. Bill Pierce, with her sister-in-law, are now at their cabin. Mr. Pierce expects to join them later. Their Florida 'home is in Miami Springs. Dr. David R. Shull and children, arrived from Ft. Lau-' derdale last Tuesday, to be at' their cabin for several weeks, j Considerable interest has been created in costume pre-j Iparation since the announce ment of the Masquerade Dan-, ce, to be held at the Cattail Community Hall this week on Friday night. A dozen prizes, j all valuable, will be awarded for the best costumes to ap pear at the party. There will be lots of fun, not only for those who come masked, but for the spectators as well. This party will climax the social ac tivities for the summer, “up on Cattail”.
