The trouble is that I don't bav* one. I put to a little of this and that but it ahmss out so good that sevsrui people like it vtsry mttfb. I’U try itg Use unbaked pie sheila. Pot the filling us e a quart of pumpkin, measured after it has bn.en cooked and mashed. Add 3 egg yolks— more eggs will make it better— 2 cups brown* sugar, 4' tbsp. flour—use less flour if you! use more eggs—and the following seasonings: 2 tsp. salt, 1-8 tsp. pep per, 2 tsp. cinnamon, 2 tsp. nutmeg, 1-4 tsp. cloves and 1-4 tsp. ginger. Mix thoroughly, add about 1 qt. milk. It is better if ypu use some t cream. Many times I use the powdered non-fat milk and then add 1 cup cream. Mix—Beat the egg whites until almost stiff, add to pumpkin mixture and mix. Pour into 3 unbaked pie shells and bake in 350 to 400 degree oven for 45 to 60 minutes. If this recipe is as clear as mud to you, just remem ber I had to get it that way from my mother and change it to suit myself, and my daughters will f hav e to get it that way from me.: I find I can change this recipe ac -1 I cording to my budget, too.
