The purpose of the examination Rep. Taylor said, is to provide at objective testing method whlel will aid him in' the selection o' 1 appointees to . the four academies Taylor said he would be fur nlshed results of the examinatkr about August 8, and would be abb to use these results in makinr i selections for appointees to the classes of 1964 in the academies. The Congressman emphasized that appointments for the 1983 classes, starting in July, were closed several weeks ago and tha t files are now being set up for 1964 applicants. “The July test could be of in valuable assistance to me in, helping determine the best quali- i fied applicants for the 1964 class es, “Taylor said. He urged all those interested in being consider ed for appointment to any of the four military academies should make arrangements for this ex amination prior to June 1, through his District Secretary, Tom L.
