These fish were p oduced at the Federal Fish Hatchery ocated near Pisgah Forest. District Game & Fish Protector Mr. D. R. McGalliard directed the re lease of the fish and solicited assistance from members ,of the local wildlife club and oth er interested sportsmen. Par ticipating in the stocking was W. E. Gooden, Wildlife Patrol man. The Wildlife Resources Com mission points out that the ccope-atlve effort of all those Interested in the State's fish and game resources will be re quired to bring about better fish'ng, the favorite outdoor recreation of so many Ameri cans.
