M- stainey sold. These talks will be with the Rev. Christo pher Bacon, director of youth work for the Methodist Board of Education for British Met hodism. While in England, the 1965 North Carolina caravane-s will visit Methodist shrines, the English headquarters of the World Methodist Council, and stay in a Metodlst Youth Hostle—a type of “YMCA” for Methodist young people coming to London seeking employment or training. The caravaners will leave Char otte June 1 and the next day board a boat in New York City for England, arriv ing June 7. Arrival in Sweden is set for June 14. Following the Sweden Methodist Con ference, the North Carolin ians will go to the Methodist youth camp at Oreborg for the Mid-Summer Youth Fes tival.' The rest of the Scandina vian tour sends the North Carolinians into Finland, Norway and Denmark, with this part of the trip ending July 23. From then until Aug. 12, the group will tour wes tern Europe, visiting The Netherlands, Belgium, West Germany, Switzerland, Itay and France. “This caravan will give us ;all an opportunity to meet people in a common quest to ward the deepening of our faith,” the Rev. Mr. Stanley said. “Pa'ents of the young people from other caravans have said this is a maturing experience for their sons and daughters." The caravaners, while tour ing Scandinavia, mostly stay in private homes and in youth camps. While in wes tern Europe, this year’s cara van group will travel mostly by chartered bus in • connec tion with other touring groups. The six young collegians making this year’s trip are active in their local churches, and with church work at the colleges and universities they are attending. (Mrs. Fouts) Bums Statue.
