so death passed upon all men,
for that all have sinned.
I want to speak on the sub
ject of the power of sin. Sin
begins as a little thing in the
heart of an individual. Man
is born into this world under
its curse, and under condem
nation to God. (Rom. 3-23)
the Bible says, “for all have
sinned and come short of the
g ory of God.” As this sin is
allowed to grow in the heart
of the individual, he or she
is brought under its power
more and more until finally
they become a slave to it’s
power, and sin holds domin
ion over them. It/s sin that
makes the socal drinker a
drunkard. It’s a tobacco de
mon that makes people a
slave to the tobacco habit.

we have passed the point
of no return. The Bible says
sin when it is finished, briiig
eth forth death. This docs not
refer to the natural death,
but to the spiritual death, or
(Hell). In (Ps. 9-17) the Bible
says, the wicked shall be
turned into Hell, and all Na
tions that forget God. In
(Rev. 21-8) the Bible declares,
the fearful, the unbelieving,
the abominable, the murder
ers, and whoremongers, sor
cerers, idolaters, and all liars,
shall have their part in the
lake, which burneth with fire
and brimstone which is the
second death. This will be the
wages for living a sinful life.
But its not Gods will for
any to perish, but that all
should come to repentance.
Whether one wants to ac
knowledge it or not, every
Bible sign points to the very
near end of this age, and the
return of Jesus Christ, for his
Church. Will his coming find
you ready? After almost two
thousand years, the cross up
on which he died still stands
as a witness that Satans pow r
ef and works have been de
stroyed. In (I Jn. 3-8) the
Bible says, he that commtt
teth sin is of the devil, for
this purpose was the son of
God manifested that h e
might destroy the works of
the Devil. God loves you sin
ner friend, he loves ycu back
slidder, but there is a possi
bility of o~e waiting too long
to find God. Sins power may
you captive, but sins
power has been broken, and
destroyed at Calvary. The five
enemies of man are, sin, sick-
ness, demons, fear and death.
Jesus Christ destroyed all of
these through h's death on
the cross, and his Resurrec
tion from the dead the third
day. In (Rev. 1-18) Jesus said
I am he that was dead, and
behold I am al've for ever
more, and have the keys to
death, and of Hell. He’s the
first and the last, thr beginn
ing and the ending. He’s the
rose of Sharron, the L'ly of
the valley, he’s the bright and
morning star. He’s the cure
for every Pi, he is redemption,
and salvation, for every be
liever. He is a Saviour and, a
refuge for all who will trust
and believe in him, Amen.
