N neteen women from different
sections of the county attended
a two-day workshop to learn to
make “Red Rid'ng Hood" dolls.
It is hoped that these women
will continue to make these dolls
at home for sale. The W.A.M.Y.
Crafts Coordinator will assist
women in finding a suitable
market for these dolls.

and we need to clean up our lot.

there are three dolls, however!
these are all alike as each doll
has three faces - Red Riding
Hood, the Grandmother and the
wolf. In other words, instead
of the doll being called a "Red
Riding Hood doll; it could very
easily be called the “Three
Face" doll.

Adult Basic Education classes
are now in progress at Bee Log
School. These classes are held
on Tuesday and Thursday
nights at 7:00 p. m.
These classes are for adults
18 years old and older who want
to improve their economic and
social standing. Persons who en
roll mas learn to read and write,
or they may review English,

If interested in enrolling in; a
basic electrical class, you are
invited to attend a meeting
April 10, 1967 at 7:30 p. m. at
the W. A.M.Y. Office (located
at Oak Crest School Building).
The class would run for 40
hours and would possibly be
held 4 to 6 ours per week.
Class would be sponsored by
W.A.M.Y. and Marion-McDowell
I.E.C. The only charge for this
class would be the price of a
book.
The class is limited to 20.
