Al though fashion dictates, it is up to the wearer whether she hems her skirts just above the knee ® w lit! jßli'-' liyiM lisp or goes three inches higher. And shown here is a short, quick little knit dress of 100% Durene cotton by Garland. It comes in bright shades includ ing a combination of orange and white. There is a mad mix of patterns with bold checks on raglan sleeves, a skinny rib bib, and more bold checks for the skirt bottom. All of the new mini-dresses, mini-sweaters and short dresses currently popular are en hanced by Durene cotton, a high quality mercerized yarn which imparts lustrous beauty to finished fashions. And be cause of mercerization, Durene is a stronger yarn, providing greater comfort through absorp tion and evaporation qualities. Durene cotton also has a high dye affinity, which enables the yarn to take to the glorious, bright colors which are so im portant this season.
