G.S. Uniforms
Wanted
#
Do you have an out-grown Girl
Scout, uniform hanging in your
closet, taking up much needed
space? If you have, we know
just the place for it. There are
Grl Scouts from Brownies thro
ugh Seniors in Yancey County
who could make good use of
such uniforms. The purchase of
a un form for some of these
children would work a real hard
ship on the parents. Look throu
gh your closets, and if you find
such a uniform bring it to the
office of THE YANCEY RE
CORD and drop it in a box mark
ed for that purpose. Scout lead
ers or parents may come by and
select a uniform to fit a child
who needs it. Some children may
be staying out of the Scouts be
cause they are unable to afford
a uniform. Be generous, and at
the same time do yourself a
favor
