Congratulations to Windom Me
thodist Church. This church is
now debt-free. Dedication ser
vices will be held Sunday at the
11:00 worship service. The spe-
CHURCH NEWS
aker for the occasion will be Dr.
Embree Blackard, retiring Dis
trict Superintendent, and Dr.
Gross, the new DistrfcTSupt. for
the Asheville District. Rev. Al
vin Jones is pastor of the church
Following the service a picnic
dinner will be served to mem
bers and guests.
While the Windom Methodist
membership is small, they have
one of the most attractive chur
ches in the county. Needless to
say, it s a working, paying (and
doubtless praying) congregation.
We feel sure much sacrifice has
gene into the building of this
beautiful church, but what a feel
ing of accomplishment they
must have.
