Robertson, Social Sec urity district manager, stated that DIAL 'N FILE is “a mod em, streamlined, fast way of filing claims, using the speed and convenience of the tele phone. "While a person sits comfort ably in his own home, or office answering a few questions by telephone —a social security specialist at the other end of the line fills out the application form, tells the applicant what records or proofs may be needed and, if necessary, how to get thorp . and arranges for com p'et r* of the claim which then can l>e sent promptly to the Payment Center."
