I ERSKINE MILLER Funeral services were held at 2:30 p. m. Sunday in Green Mountain Free Will Baptist Church for Erskine Miller. 76. a lifelong Yancey County resident and retired fanner, who died Friday in a Spruce Pine hospital after a long illness. The Revs. Frances Radford and T. E. Woody officiated and burial was in Hunter Cemetery. Pallbearers were Stanley and Tommy Deyton, Gene and J-e Woody. Charles Wilson, Earl Fox, Willie, Robinson and G. P. Melton. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Princie Cann Miller: a daughter, Mrs. Echird Hunter of Burns* ville; four sens, Ted of Asheville and John, Arnold and the Rev. Charlie Miller of Burnsville; the mother, Mrs. Christina John son of Albany, Ohio; two half brothers, Roy of Albany and Finley Johnson of Burnsville; 18 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. MRS. TRISSIE MITCHELL Funeral services were held at 2:30 p. m. Saturday in the chap el of Holcombe Brothers Funeral Home here for Mrs. Trissie Mitchell, 95, of Burnsville, who died in a local rest home Thurs day afternoon after a long illness The Rev. Guy Honeycutt and the Rev. Frances Radford offi ciated and burial was in the McCracken Cemetery. MINNIE RENFRO Mrs. Minnie Renfro, 80, of Green Mountain Rt. 2, died Sun day morning in a local hospital after a brief illness. She was the widow of Bert Renfro, who died in 1964. She is survived by one dau ghter, Miss Erma Renfro of Green Mountain; two sons, Ellis and Robert Renfro, both of Green Mountain; one sister, Mrs. Mary Gouge of Marion; and five grandchildren. Services were held Tuesday at 2 p. m. in North Bend Free Will Baptist Church. The Rev. Fred Harrell offi ciated. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery. Pallbearers we re Shelton Byrd, Howard Buchanan, Claude, Parks, Ike, and Joe Peterson.
