fun and learning to the Girt

there was very good attendance
throughout.
The girls did a fine job of put

camp, with equipment provided
by the Pisgah Girl Scout Coun

of crafts, hiking, outdoor cook

was provided, with the girls
not only learning many outdoor
skills, but, very importanttly,
learning how to work together
with each individual doing her
part. It was a real opportunity
for girls from different areas
of the county to come to know
and respect each other.

are 12, 13 and 14 jtears old,
made a two day back-packing

an unforgettable experience for
them, and they may be justly
proud of their competence.
A great many people are to
be thanked for making this Day

held on forestry land, and the

available.
Mrs. Helton Carmichael was

R. Ohle was the doctor on call.
Mrs. Mary Hess was in charge
of crafts, and Mrs. Edgar Hun

Rev. Alvin Jones did a great

serving as driver.
Mr. and Mrs. Helton Carmi

Mclntosh, Jr., accompanied the
Cadettes into Lost Cove. Mr.

To all these people go many,
many thanks for all the wwrk,
