They have been doing this for many years, and their friends will be glad to see them. * Lt. Jim Hardekopf and his wife, Celia, visited his sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Ed Yuziuk, last week in Burnsville. Jim, a Duke Univ. Grad, who is a jet pilot in the Navy, just received his Masters Degree in Aeronautics Systems and is on his way to Jackson - ville, Fla. for reassignment on a carrier. * ' Mr. Benson Tyner, who has been teaching in the S outh Carolina school system is heme to spend the summer with his mother, Mrs. Torey Tyner. * Mr. and Mrs. Mack Ray attended graduation exercises at Wake Forest College in Winston Salem where their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. David Cort, received a degree in Medicine. * Mr. Bruce Westall, with a friend from Asheville, Mr. Bob McClure, spent two days fish ing on Fontana Dam last week. * Rev. Ralph Jacks is attend ing the Methodist Annual Con ference at Lake Junaluska this week. Church Singing The Riverview Free Will Methodist Chinch in Erwii* Tennessee will have a gospel singing on Saturday night, June 20, at 7:30 p. m. Ed Ball, promoter of gospel is going to bring several group from the Asheville area. All singers and the public are in vited to attend and take part This church is" located at on the Asheville highway. Dr. New ton will return to Ft. Gordon, Augusta, Ga., and the family will remain for a week. * Mrs. Hubert Cooper visited Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Daniels of Williamston, S.C. during the past wefek. * Mrs. Zenas Metcalf and two daughters, Lynn and Doris have been vacationing in Daytona and Miami Beach for the p a st week. * Mrs. Charlie Green g-nd daughter. Karen, of Gi eens boro, have been visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Ray,during the past week. * Mr. and Mrs. Dan Fox of Green Mountain are the proud parents of a 6 pound baby girl, Carol Kimberly, bom June 15 at Memorial Mission Hospital in Asheville. * Mr. and Mb. Bill McMahan from Tulsa, Oklahoma, are visiting friends and relat iv es in Burnsville. * Mrs. Jeanette Lehman of Kentucky and her 3 children, Jeff, Jeanine, and Joy, were the guests of Mb. Lula Raydur ing the past week.
