She expressed ap preciation for a contribution of S9OO voted by the County Com missioners toward the work of the Mental Health Association in the County. Reports were made by the Chairmen of Family life, Mrs. Troy Ray; Nutrition, MjsJßyrd Gillespie; and International Re lations, Mb. David Poweß. The Chib voted to make a contribution of $25 toward re lief of earthquake victims in Peru. There was a discussion as to how best to work out arraign ments, including items to be displayed and sold at the Mt. Mitchell Crafts Festival to be held in early August. Mrs. Powers, assisted by Mrs. Helene Moore and Winnie Lou Ray, served refreshments,after which a social hour was en joyed by the group.
