Paul Wheeler, 48,0 f Burns
ville died in a Veterans Hospi
tal early Sunday morning fol
lowing a brief illness. He was
an employee of the Town of
Burnsville, a veteran of World
War 11, and was retired from
the U.S. Army in 1965 after
twenty years service.
Surviving are the wife,Chrfc
ta Helbig Wheeler and a son ,
Johnny F. Wheeler of the
home; the father, Floyd Wheel-

died in a W.N.C. hospital on
Tuesday morning after a long
illness.
Surviving are the
Rathbone Phillips; one daugh

N. C.; five grandchildren.
Funeral services wilLbe held
Thursday at 2:00 p. m. in the
South Estatoe Baptist Church.
Rev. Earl Robinson and Dave
Blevins will officiate and burial
will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Pearl Higgins, 64, of
the Pensacola Community died
en-route to a local hospital on
Monday night after a long ill -
ness.
Surviving are the husband,

one son, Bimont Higgins of

Minnie Crowder of Asheville ;
