Briggs’ Art Work On Display
The works of George H.BrifßS
of Winston Salem, N.C. arc
on exhibition at the Art Gall
ery at the Yancey County Coun
try Store, tor the rest of June.
Mr. Briggrf paintings are usual
ly described as "Imprcssionb -
tic". He b a artist
who loves to paint, and uses
color to project mood, atmos
phere and time of year like
few artists arc capable of. No
thing b contrived or forced in
hb works, and even though
Mr. Briggs claims he knows
nothing about painting, when
you look hard at hb work, you
find the "knowing" b there.
Mr. Briggs has had numcr-
ous shows, including Syracuse,
New York, as long ago as 1945
and 1947; the International
Show, Contemporary Gallery,
in New York City in 1955,and
Winston Salem in 1969 as well
as many othcß.
Women Past 21
WITH BLADDER IRRITATION
Suffer Many Troubles
After 21, common Kidney or Bladder
Irritations affect twice as many women
as men and may make you tense and
nervous from too frequent, burning or
itching urination both day and night.
Secondarily, you may lose sleep and
suffer from Headaches, Backache and
feel old, tired, depressed. In such irri
tation, CYSTEX usually brings fast,
relaxing comfort by curbing irritating
germs in strong, acid mine and by anal
gesic pain relief. Get CYSTEX at drug
gists. See how fast it can help you.
