Junior attendants were Miss Laura Holcombe and Tommy Parker. Miss H clcombe wore a full length white empire gown of dotted swiss and car ried a basket of daisies. Tom my was dressed in white trou sers and navy blazer. The bridegroom's brother, Benny Young, was best man, and ushers were Richard Banks, brother of the bride and Bobby Young, brother of the groom. Music was furnished by Mr. Charlie Boone, who played the theme from Romeo and Juliet and Mr. Jerry Clevenger who sang lyrics from ''x>ve Story" and The Lord's Prayer. A reception followed in the fellowship hall of the church. Mrs. Kathleen Byrd,Mrs. Bur - dette Johnson, Mrs. Rick Baccn and Mrs. Tracy Banks assisted. William Hess were hos tesses to a miscellaneous bri dal shower for Miss Marcia Banks, bride elect of John Young of Spruce Pine, who will be married in the Bolen's Creek Baptist Church Sunday The event was held Friday at the home of Mrs, Westall with a color scheme of pink and greens used in the decorations. Approximately 40 people at tended. A rehearsal dinner was giv en Thursday night at the home of the bride's parents,Mr. and Mrs. Ezekial Banks, by the groom's mother, Mrs. C. Y. Young of Spruce Pine.
