United In Marriage
Miss Kathy Ann Bailey, the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. lord
Bailey of Burnsville, and Ron
ald Lee Hullct, son of Mr. and
Mis. William Hullct, also of
Burnsville, were married at
2xoo p.m. Sunday, September
19, in West Burnsville Baptist
Church. The Rev. Fred Har
rell officiated.
Following the ceremony,the
parents of the bride gave a re
ception for about 25 guests at
their home on Summit Street.
The bride is a graduate
of East Yancey High School,
and Me Dowell Technical In
stitute in Marion.
The groom is a graduate of
Cane River High School and
Asheville-Buncombe Techni -
cal Institute, and is presently
employed by R S W in Ashe
ville.
After a honeymoon trip to
South'Carolina, the ecu pie will
live in Burnsville.
4-H Club
Meeting

The Pensacola 4-H Club
had their monthly meeting
on Thursday, September 16
at Pensacola School.
Miss Carol Pyle showed us
films on how to manage our
money wisely. Later, we dis
cussed how we would spend a
dollar. There were many dif
ferent ideas. Afterwards we
had a short play, "The Case
Os The Laboring Dollar. "
We have decided to chang:
our meetings to Wednesday
evenings, so our next meeting
will be Wednesday, October
20, at 3:45 p.m.

Mrs. Austin is a 1970 gradu
ate of East Yancey High ■School.
Sp/4 Aißtdn is a 1969 gradurte
of Cane River High School and
js presently serving in the Uni
ted States Army. He has just
completed a year’s duty in
Viet Nam and will be station
ed at Fort Riley, Kansas after
a 30-day leave.
