Winners To Be Announced Area winners of the Road side Improvement Contest of the 1971 Western North Caro lina Community Development Program will be announced at a luncheon meeting on Friday, September 24 at 12 noon at Bailey's Cafeteria, Westgate Shopping Center, Asheville. Fifty-nine organized rural communities competed in the special Roadside Contest this year and 12 county winners were judged in area competi tion last week. White Oak Creek represented Yancey County in the judging.
