Miller of Craig Air Force
Base, Alabama, fell and
broke his arm recently. Visi
ting Jerry and wife Nina over
the weekend were Roger and
Dale Laws and Royce Efennett.

Mr, and Mrs. Tommy Mil
ler and family have moved
from Monroe, Louisiana to
Morganton, N.C, The Mil
lers were formerly of Morgan
ton. Tommy is the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Bemie Miller.

Mr. and Mis. Ike Hopson
celebrated their 61st Wed
ding Anniversary Saturday,
November 30th. They were
married in 1910.

Mrs. Irene Lunsford of
Asheville fell and broke her
leg last week while moving
into a new house. She is Ms.
Mildred Miller's sister.

Rev. Floyd J. Wood of
Morganton is visiting old
friends during his stay this
week in our area. Rev.Wbod
is conducting a Revival at
Ridge View Presbyterian
Church at Red Hi 11.... Also
a Revival is going on at
Union Hill Free Will Baptist
Church at Tipton Hill. Rev.
Edd Davis is bringing the
message each night. Services
begin at both churches at
7:00 p.m.
