Letters To The Editor
Dear Editors
My husband and I would
like to commend you whole
heartedly on your Pollution-
Conservation edition.
The people of Burnsville
must be made to realize what
a wonderful gift:they have in
the mountains and streams of
thte area. It must be preserv
ed! I myself never realized
the importance of this until I
lived within 10 miles of Stu
benville, Ohio which his been
given the award of the dirti -
est city in the U. S. A.
ft breaks my heart to see
an old car or a refrigerator in
a stream. I sincerely hope thrt
the people who violate nature
in this manner can be made
to see what a sin they are
committing.
Sincerely yours,
Mrs. Michael Dyer

These five offices to be filled

From The Editor
Since the publication of our Conservation-Pollution
Edition last week we have been asked by many students
if they could utilize material therein to be used in
themes, essays and general classwork projects.
By receiving requests of this kind, we are beginning
to appreciate the decision made to publish this edition
and the deep core concern by all citizens in what we
are trying to accomplish in our area, and in our en
vironment. Students, you have our permission to use
every picutre, every word to help imbed in every per
son the dire need of conservation and a clean environ -
ment. We are more than excited and thankful for your
interest.
