His wife and son returned Tuesday from a two weeks visit with her sister and family in Santa Monica, Calif. * The congregations of the Grassy Creek Presbyterian Church and Newdale F’resby - terian Church held a joint ser vice at GrasSy Creek on Sunday, April 23rd, and enjoyed a fine musical hour given by "The Highlanders", a very fine singing group from Lees Mcßae College. Rev. J. D. Price from John son City, Tennessee, and Rev. Arnold Wilson froin Marion N.C. held the service. There were special group singers from Windom, Jacks Creek Baptist and Big Creek churches. Two people were saved. :: North Bend and Jacks Creek Baptist Churches held a joint Baptism Service Sunday, April 30th at the mouth of Mur p hry town down on Cane River. Rev. Cecil Higgins, Phillip Garland and Frank Phillips con ducted the Baptising of eight people. :: Sunday, April 30, Jacks Creek Baptist Church held Gam in uni on Services.
