No union brought us to Yancey County, built this plant, provided customers, created jobs, provided steady work here in Yancey County nor met a payroll. The Textile Workers of America is an outside force attempting to interfere with our operations It would like to meddle in the affairs of this company and its employees. Based on history and fact, it is our belief that if this union were to get in our plant, that it would not work to the best interest of employees, the company, or the community. Yancey County has made excellent progress without union trouble without disturbing the traditionally good relationships. We are dedicated to the task of producing quality fabrics at a competitive price that will enable us to grow with Yancey County people. We fully intend to meet our obligations to our employees and the community by doing those things which should be done and can be done. We sincerely believe that our operation has been beneficial to our employees and the community. Let us all work together to keep it that way V 'TKill^ ^KC.
