Mr. and Mrs. Horace D. Ray, Sr. will be honored by their
family with an Open House celebration on Sunday, August 13,
from 2:00 until 5:00 p. m. in observance of their Golden Wed
ding Anniversary. Friends and relatives are invited to attend.
Mr.-and Mrs. Ray were married August 16, 1922 and are
the parents of three children, Mrs. David (Louise) Roberts of
Chapel Hill; Charles Elbert of Burnsville, and Horace Daniel
Jr. who died in 1969. They have five grandchildren and one
great- grandchild.
