Local school officials have adopted the following family size-income criteria for use in determining eligibility (shewn at bottom of this article). Child ren from families whose iroome is at or below those shown re eligible for meals free or at reduced prices. The informa tion provided on die applies - tion will be confidential and will be useu mly for the pur pose of determ kiing eligibility. Applications may be submitted any time during the school year. In certain cases foster child ren are also eligible for these benefits. If a family has such children living with them and wishes to apply for such meals for them, they should contact the school. In the operation of child feeding programs, no child will be discriminated against became of his race, sex,color or national origin.
