The Don Dolles did an outstanding job and again our grateful thanks. ** Mrs. Ralph Cline of Gaffney, S. Carolina has been the houseguest of her sister, Mrs. Percy Threadgill. She plans to visit with her daughter, Mrs. .Burnett Balantine of Biltmore Forest before returning to Gaffney. ** The Harold Gronquists of Fort Lauderdale, Florida have arrived to spend the month of August with Harold’s mother, Mrs. Carl Gronquist. ** Mrs. Beulah Jaques of Sarasota, Florida is spending a month with her sister-in-law, Mrs. Grace Grassmuck at Story Book home. ** The Richardsons “Out-of- Site” cabin has really come alive this week. Rick and Bonnie McGuire are both teachers and are coming to the Mt. Mitchell Crafts Fair for the second time. Mindy who hope to stay tor the crafts fair. Other guests, also of Miami are Mr. and Mrs. Mike Calacurto who hope to have a few weeks in the area. ** The Col. Tyners have just returned from a two weeks trip to the Outer Banks where they visited many points of interest including some of the old courthouses and cemeteries pursuing a bit of ancestral background. ** The Elmer Days spent last weekend at Lake Junaluska at a layman’s convention—as usual they came back with fine reports. ** The Rev. Scotty Bozemans are at their cabin and have been dashing back and forth to Junaluska-but spirits have been dampened since Scotty injured his back while doing a bit of yard work. ** Dogwood Cottage has as its guests tnis week the Roddy Rossboroughs of Hialeah, Fla. Their two sons, Wayne and Roddy Jr. are enjoying roaming these hills. ** The Tom Harringtons of Miami have arrived to spend a week with Tom’s parents, the Ed Harringtons. Their visit is always a looked forward to week by the elder Harringtons who incidentally are celebrating their 52nd wedding anniversary this week. ** The Ralph Priesmeyers of Cattail Creek Mountain Farms are happy to have their son, Jim of Delray Beach, and daughter Tinka Harmon and family of Winter Park, Florida with them for a few weeks. ** The Cattail Creek Home owners Ass’n wish to thank Mrs. Grassmuck for her gener ous donation toward recondi tioning the piano-and thanks to Floyd and Mae Davis for the outstanding job they did for us. ** The Ronald Lindquists and daughter are spending a few weeks with the Gaar family in the Andre cabin. ** Don’t forget Bingo 7:30 Wednesday-You all come!
