The training will be conducted by Mrs. Nona Price, Director of Blood Program Nursing. Trainees who complete the three-and-a-half hour class will be able to assist in all Senior Class Officers At East Yancey school. Arts Council Meeting Tuesday, October 22, is the date for the next meeting of organization for a new regional arts council. The meeting will take place in the Mayland Tech Library at 7:00 p.m. The initial meetins were attended by approximately 25 people and a steering com mittee was organized to lu\> establish the group formally in the communities. EY Homecoming Set The annual East Yancey High School Homecoming will be held on the football field during half time of the East Yancey and Edneyville foot ball game. J. Michael Griffin, Principal of East Yancey, says there is a splendid group of contestants this year and he urges everyone to come to the ballgame and support the candidates of their choice.
