Boone of Burnsville were home with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Brooks Boone of Pensacola to celebrate the holidays. * Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Cooper visited their three daughters and their families during the holidays. First visit was with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hall in Johnson City, Tenn.; then Dr. and Mrs. Zack Newton of Atlanta, Georgia; and last, Mr. and Mrs. David Hirt of Chatta nooga, Tennessee. * Mrs. Lena Tilson spent the holidays with her son and family, Robert Tilson of Rockville, Illinois. * Mr. and Mrs. Gary Ray of Greenville, S.C. spent Christ mas with the James Rays. * Mr. and Mrs. George Leslie Hensley and family of Sebring. Florida are visiting Mrs. Leslie Hensley. * MrVand Mrs. Archie Ford of Ft. Mrs. Brown is the daugh ter of Mrs. James E. Fleming of Route 1, Boonville and the late Mr. Fleming. She is a graduate of Starmount High School and Appalachian State University where she majored in home economics. She has worked as Assistant Home Economics Extension Agent in Yancey County. Mr. Brown is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Edgar Brown of Yadkinville. He graduated from Yadkin ville High School and N.C. State University, where he majored in indus trial arts. He is instructor of industrial arts at Griffith Junior High School in Forsyth County. A program of wedding music was presented by Gene \ Wagoner, organist, and Reg gie Goble, soloist. Given in marriage by her brother, Kenneth Fleming, the bride wore a gown oTivofy silk organza over satin, which she made. The dress featured, an empire waistline, stand-up collar, and the skirt formed a self-train. Ivory lace adorned the bodice, sleeves, skirt, and veil. Mrs. Reggie Goble of Boonville, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Brides maids were Mrs. Gene Biggerstaff of Hickory, Mrs. George Webb of liast Bend, and Miss Julia Farthing of Winston Salem. The groom’s father was best man.
