Anna Wilson, Amy Laws Celebrate Birthdays A..na Wilson and Amy Laws were honored on their first birthday with a party at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J.D. Laws, Amy’s parents, at Micaville on Sunday after noon, August 22, 1976 at 2 o’clock. Anna is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Danny Wilson of Morganton and the grand daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rass Thomas and Mrs. Rex Wilson and the late Mr. Wilson of Micaville. Amy is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Talmadge Woody, Jr. and Mrs. Ethel Laws and the late Mr. Laws of Burnsville. Guests included Laura Robinson, Samuel Mclntosh, Kimberly Kates, David Laws, Jennifer Thomas, Joey King, Chad Ray and Tony and Martin Briggs. The children enjoyed games and refreshments of cake and ice cream. “We expect to be cpen for business within 15 working days after the modular struc ture arrives on site,” Drake said. The building is said to be the first of its type in the area. “Permanent manufactured buildings are a new and successful solution to the problem of expansion faced by financial institutions,” said Drake.
