Participants in the first part will assist in the laying out and the actual construction of a modern trout farm at Hugh Glenn’s place near Little Switzerland. Charles Zelglar, successful trout grower, will supervise the construction. Interested persons who do not know where Hugh Glenn lives can meet at the old Presbyterian Church In Spruce Pine at 10:00 A.M. on September 21. Someone will be there to direct you to Mr. Glenn’s. The meetings will be held on Tuesdays from 10t30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. beginning on September 21 and ending October 19.- The second phase of the course will be held at Mayland Technical Institute in Spruce Pine at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday nights beginning October 26 snd eroding November 18. This portion of the course will consist mostly of lecture with one field trip to a trout hatchery. Mqjor topics will be site selection, management, hatching, feeding, diseases, marketing, and regulations.
