This year’s applicants include the following: Cathy Bradley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gomie Bradley. Cathy plans to attend Montreat Anderson College for a business degree or a modeling school upon graduation. She has been active in FHA, Pep Club, Monogram Club, Art and Bible Clubs, Intramural Award Varsity Basketball, Trillium Business Staff and she is a bus driver. Pam McCurry, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Max McCurry plans to attend college after high school. She has participated in Beta Club, Math, Science, Monogram, and Pep Clubs. She was Homecoming Queen in the 9th grade, Class Officer, Baseball and J.V. Football Statistician, Cheerleader and member of the band. She attended United Nations Sim ulation at ASU. Claudia Sue Holland is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin L. Holland. She plans to attend college to become a dental hygienist. She has participated in All County Chorus and is Flag Twirler with the Marching Band at Woodridge High School. She is in the Art, Music, Bible and Vica Gubs; on the square dance team and listed in Who’s Who Among the American High School Stu dents. Teena Byrd, daughter of Mrs. Elaine Mclntosh, plans to continue in school following graduation from High School. She participated in the UN Simulation at ASU and has been in the Beta, Bible, Pep, Monogram, and FHA Clubs, Cheerleader and on the Track Team. She is in Who’s Who Among American HS Stu dents. She attended the UN Simulation at ASU and has been active in 4-H, attending camps and 4-Ht Congress and Gothing Camp, She is a Girl Scout and JV Cheerleader; received Speech and Drama Award; and is a member of the Beta, Math, Monogram, Band, Pep ancf Spirit Gubs. Sheila Angel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Angel; has been active in thq following clubs: Math, Beta; FHA, French, Pep-Spirit. Shd is on the Annual Staff and plans to attend college study* ing to be a Medical Technolo* . . M gist. Susan Renee Peterson is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs: Gifford Peterson. She plans to go on to college, but has not yet decided on her area of study. She is a member of the Math, Pep, Monogram, Bible, and FKA Clubs, Cheerleader, on the Track Team and attended the UN Simulation at ASU. Renee has received an English award, is in Who’s Who Among American High School Students and is a Marshall this year. She has been a Girl Scout and 4-H member, winning a clothing award. Beth Bailey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Garrett D. Bailey, has participated in the Bible Club, Beta, Pep, Spirit, and French Clubs; Girl Scouts, and Chorus. Both Beth plans a career in Nursing at Presbyterian in Charlotte.
