How well does a raccoon stocked from another part of the State adapt to his new home? The answers to these and many other questions are being sought In an extensive five-year study of raccoons in western North Carolina by game biologists for the N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission. In order to get the most accurate information possible, raccoons are being equipped with radio transmitters. Biologists are monitoring the radios so that they can chart the movements of the raccoons.
