McFadden was born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina. He has attended a number of colleges and universities including East Texas Baptist College in Marshall, Texas. Additional ly, McFadden received the prestigious honor of being selected for the Who’s Who in American Colleges and Uni versities. He has since served as music director for a number of evangelistic and pastor’s conferences. McFadden is also an accomplished songwriter of gospel music, and he has released two solo albums of his own music since 1973.
