NOW, THERE FORE, BE IT ORDERED by the Board of Commissioners of the County of Cherokee as follows: Section 1. The Board of Commissioners of the County of Cherokee has ascertained andhereby determines that It la necessary to reconstruct and enlarge, by the erection of ad ditions, in the Cherokee County School Administrative Unit end In Andrews City School Administrative Unit and tn Murphy City School Administrative Unit several existing buildings used as school houses, school garages physical education and vocational education buildings teacherages and lunchrooms multipurpose roomsandother school plant facilities, and to acquire land, furnishings end equipment necessary for such reconstructed or enlarged buildings In order to enable the County of Cherokee, se re administrative agency of the public school system of the State of North Caroline to maintain public schools In said County for the nine months' school term pre scribed by low, red dint It will be necessary to expend for such purposed not less than $500,000 In addition to other moneys which have been available therefor. Section 2. In order to raise the money required toflnance the cost of reconstructing nd enlarging, by the erection of additions, said existing build ings , and of acquiring land, and furnishings and equipment necessary for audi recon structed and enlarged build ings bonds of the County ofj Cherokee are hereby authorized and shall be Issued pursuant s the Cotmty Finance Act of North Carolina. The maximum aggregate principal amoimt of said bonds authorized by this Bond Order shall be Five Hundred Thous and Dollars ($500,000). Section 3. A statement of the Comity debt of the Comity of Cherokee has been filed with the Clerk of the Board of Commissioners of Safc Comity and Is open to pnbUc 5.
