Camp bell Folk School at Brass Miss Bernlce Stevens, Dir ector of Education for the Guild, will hold the Jewelry Workshop September 24 th rough October S, 1962. Classes will be on Monday thru Friday, both weeks, with morning classes from 9:00 12:00 and evening class from 7:00-10:00. The course will consist of work with sterling silver, and all materials and tools will be available. Jewelry, with or without stones, may be made. If you cut your own stones. Mr. Howell comes to Hayesvtlle from Newton, NJC.. where he was County Supervisor for - Catawba and Burke Counties f for approximately four and a half years. Prior to that time, he worked with Farmers Home Administration In Yancey Co unty as Assistant County Supervisor since January of 1955. A native of Yancey County, Mr. Howell was educated In the Yancey County schools. East Tenn. State College, and received his degree In Agrl arural Education from the versity of Tenn.
