EDITORIAL Pictures Tell This Story Well 'Watch Out For Falling Rocki' Pictures arc better than word*, the man said. These photos show the sidewalk beside the new stretch or four lane 64 West out of Murphy. Evidently, somebody (oofed, or else the engineers planned to either hire a sweeper or build i strong awning. H's not a laughing matter, though. Any pedestrian foolhardy enough to make (he walk belter wear a helmet and armor. Could the olden alk have been built on the other aide or the road? Was this sidewalk really necessary? The community planners could take a text on thla mess. We're always proud of improve menta and new additions to the town, but we're not so sure this new feature ia an improvemoit. . .at least not in thia condition. But the message that comes through most clearly ia to see that better planning in the future will eliminate ?wh prrnr* as this one. tiiiai til 1 1 1 i acred fruit When A bereaved family comes to us for aid, we consider it A sacred trust to serve them fully with understanding and in every detail.
