By entering the Cherokee County contest they automatically become con testants in the Western North Carolina Community Develop ment program. The organizational meeting which took place April 26 in Bell view Community was opened by James Stewart, County Extension Chairman, with 28 members of the com munity present. Officers elected to serve on BeUview Community Develop ment program are as fallows: President, William Plem mons; Junior President, Mike Hill; Vice President, T. E. Anderson; Secretary, Mrs. Guy Hill; Treasurer, Mrs. Pauline Hatchett; Reporter, Edward Plott; Scrapbook Chairman, Mrs. Clyde Mc Nabb; and Program Chairman, Mrs. T. E. Anderson.
