This kitchen modernization program starts Thursday, May 6, and will run for a limited time, John H. Bay less manager of Murphy Power Board said in announcing the program today. Manager Bay less said the bonuses will be awarded with the purchase of these electric appliances: Electric Dish washer - $10.00; Electric Air conditioner - $10.00 - Elec tric Water Heater - $20.00; Electric Freezer - $10.00; Electric Range - $16.00. Bonuses, Bay less said, will be paid directly by Murphy Power Board to the customer buying and Installing one or more of these appliances. To collect the bonus, the cus tomer, he said, need only take his sties receipt to the electric system's office. Local appliance dealers and national manufacturers and distributors are cooperating in this spring appliance campaign. "A modern kitchen is an asset to every home," Bay less said. "We know that many of our customers need only an appliance or two to make their kitchens fully modern | and all-electric, and we're giving them a special chance to complete the job." Local appliance dealers ' have stocked a full supply of electric kitchen appliances, Bayless said. Many of these, he added, are being offered at special prices during the promotion.
