Income To Be Higher Realized net farm income in 1965 will likely total almost 113.5 billion, the highest level since 1953. The new level will be $1.8 billion more than in 1960 and is $900 million more than in 1964. Prices for farm products averaged about 10 per cent higher in June than they did a year ago, especially for beef, prk, broilers, feed grains, tobacco, soybeans, potatoes and vegetables. Cash receipts from the sale of farm products in the first half of this year were some $700 million more than in the same period in 1964. Realized net income per farm is estimated to be $4,000 as compared to $3,727 in 1964 and $2,956 in 1960. "Prospects for maintaining this improved level of per formance will depend on the continuing stability of the Nat ion's economy and on the actions taken by the Congree on the President's food and ag riculture proposal now pend ing, which would extend and improve the policies which have proven so successful during the first five years of this decade. fherokee Scout & Clay County 'rogress, Thurs.
