Jaycees To Sponsor TV Stars MURPHY- The Murphy Jay cees will sponsor the Bob Brandy Show, Saturday after noon, November 13, attheele mentary school auditorium. Bob Brandy's horse. Rebel, will be at the school at 2 p.m. and all youngsters are in vited to sit on the famous horse and toss for ten silver dollars. The one-and-a-half hour stage show of games, stunts, prizes and cartoons will get underway at 3 p.m. Many lo cal children will be called to the stage to participate in the show. Both of these TVA Electric Power Distributors were Co-hosts for the Workshop this year. Home Economists from the TVA, Winnie Bowman, & Gle ndon Nichols conducted the Home Ec Teachers Workshop assisting with teaching aids in the area of electrical living. Throughout the Tennessee Valley Area, the power dis tributors (rural electric coo peratives and municipalities) are extremely anxious to assist the schools of their re spective areas with better tea ching aids in the field of ele ctrical living. This year the program consisted mainly of information on lighting, new developments, kitchen plann ing and small appliances. Te aching aids for use by the Home Ec Teachers in other phases of teaching were given to those attending the meet ing.
