among the top two per cent
of this year's secondary
school seniors and indicates
outstanding ability to do su

Mauney, owner of Mauney
Drug Store, Murphy, who has
been a patient at Emory Hos
pital in Atlanta for sometimes,
underwent surgery on Monday,
January 3. He had his right
let amputated above the knee.
