WSCS Officers Meet
In Franklin Today
Local officers of the Wo
man's Society of Christian
Service from the six western
counties of North Carolina
will meet for a training day
at the Franklin First Metho
dist Church today. The sess
ion will begin at ten o'clock
and will close with lunch.
Women attending are asked to
bring sandwiches, and the
hostess society will serve cof
fee.
Arrangements are being
made by the subdistrict chai
rmen, Mrs. W.H. Taylor of
Murphy, for the three far west
counties;Mrs. Marion Deal
for Macon County, and Mrs
Mark Rose, Jr., for Jackson
and Swain counties.

meet with the corresponding
local officers and will share
with them information from
the Conference workshop
which district officers att
ended Tuesday in Marion.
