CI egg Bust Gives To YHC The Towns County and Cl arkesville, Ga. Lions Clubs presented a bust of Or. Char les R. Clcgg to Young Harris Colege yesterday. The bust was created by Professor Abe W. Davidson Chairman of the Art Depart ment at Breneau College in Gainesville, Ga. Lion H.O. Carlton, Director of the North Georgia Tech nical and Vocational School in Clarkesville made the pre sentation. It was accepted by Dr. Raymond Cook, President of Young Harris College, on behalf of the school. Two of Dr. Clegg's grand children, Lauren and Mark Clegg of Athens, Ga., unv eiled the bust before the en tire student body and many Lions from this area. Dr. Clegg served as president at Young Harris from 1950 until his death in 1963. The bust is expected to be placed in the Clegg Fine Arts Building on the college cam plus. o _ Jfc. Wayman, Route 4, Mur phy is a memberjof a newly 3d infantry division armor battalion based in Aschaffen burg, Germany. Specialist Wayman is as signed as a mechanic with the 4th Battalion of the division's 64 th Armor. The new Batt alion was formed to increase the divison's firepower and mobility. The 21 year old soldier entered the Army in Septem ber 1963 and completed bas ic training at Fort Knox, Ky. He graduated from Murphy High School in 1963.
