Letter To The Editor
Dear Editor:
This war must be won:
In this far land across the
sea, there is not one thing
that interests me, I'm only
here to fight the Cong, then
go back home where I belong.
The sun beats hot on sand
of white, and bullets echo
through the night. No one
wants to fight this war, just
being here is such a bore,
the same routine from day to
day. The Cong harass and
then run away. Not one of us
is having fun, but still this
war must be won.
Good men have come from
all around to help us beat them
to the ground. None of \is
have hid our face to keep
from coming to this place.
We are all fighting vigorous
ly to keep our states and
families free.
Thirteen months of fear and
pain we sacrifice in hopes
to gain a good word from a
close freind and being this
war to an end. So if you are
marching with the crowd pro
testing all your thoughts aloud,
please stop the march and all
the silly cheer. Let us de
cide, we are over here.
