The Hiawassee Neighbor
hood (Murphy) Girl Scouts had
its annual Court of Awards on
Tuesday night at 8 p.m. in the
First Baptist Church. Herman
Edwards was the Master of
Ceremonies.
After Troop 212 gave a pre
sentation of colors, everyone
said the pledge of Allegiance
to the flag. Afterwards, 100
girls were presented with club
pins and several adults who
have helped the Girl Scouts
during the past year were
given certificates of
appreciation.

a student at Appalachian State Teachers College in Boone.

the club holds its birthday
party at the Milton Inn in
