The candlelight ceremony was performed by the Rev. Joel T. Key of Winston-Salem. Nuptial music was provided by Mrs. Dan Hawk, pianist, and Mrs. Charles Freel, soloist. The bride Is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Glenn Cooper and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Sursavage, Sr. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a formal gown of chiffon taffeta with long sleeve empire waist and a A -line skirt. Thebodiceand skirt were of Alencon lace. The detachable circular court train was edged with the , matching lace and had applique I throughout the train. Her veil | was of imported silk illusion and attached to a cluster of seed pearls and sequins. She carried a Colonial bouquet of talisman roses centered with a detachable corsage of white carnations. Mrs. William BlineBlevins, J r. was matron of honor. She wore a full length sheath with empire waist, scoop neck, and I three-quarter puff sleeves of apricot nylon chiffon over taffeta. A full chiffon drape was decorated with a satin bow. Her matching pill box was attached to imported ill usion. She carried two long stem talisman roses. With gowns identical to that : of the honor attendant and carrying a single talisman rose, were the bridesmaids, Miss Robin Ammons, cousin ot the bride, of Akron, Ohio, Mrs. Pat Cooper of Bryson City, Mrs. Tommy Webster of Atlanta, and Miss Pat Guffey of Andrews. Regina Cooper, niece of the bride, was flower girl and Arthur F. Holman, III, nephew of the bridegroom, was ring bearer. James H. Workman of Woodruff, S. C. was best man. Ushers were Floyd T. Rogers of Clyde, Wayne Mass of Sumter, S. C. and Bruce Bur bick of Liverpool, Ohio, all students at Clemson Uni versity and Robert V. Cooper, brother of the bride, of McColl, S. C., James R. Sur savage, brother of the bride groom, and William Hugh Hamilton, both of Andrews. Thomas Glenn Cooper III, nephew of the bride, was junior goormsman. Assisting at the reception in the fellowship hall of the church were Mrs. Wayne Battle, Mrs. James Kyker, Mrs. Carlyle Morrow, Miss Cathy Van Gorder, Miss Sus anne Van Gorder, Miss Anna Neal Matheson, Miss Terry Hamilton and Miss Breeze Thompson. The bride's book was kept by Miss Barbara Watry of Andrews. Mrs. Cooper wore an ivory bonded crepe sheath with matching accessories and lace coat and yellow carnations. The bridegroom's mother wore a turquoise sheath of eyelet embroidery over taffeta with matching accessories and white carnations. The bride's traveling cos tume was a printed beige linen sheath with red accessories. The bride is a graduate of Andrews High School and is a senior at Clemson University. He is a member of the varsity football team, the Block "C club, theTiger Brotherhood, and the student section of American Farm Economic Association. The couple will live in damson.
