Young Harris Presents "Skin Of Our Teeth" The Deportment at Speech and Theatre of Young Harris Collets Will present Thornton Wilder** bewitching and be fuddling comedy, "The Skin of Our Teeth." November 9, 10, and 11, at 8:00 p.m. in the Clegg Fine Arts Aud itorium, Yotng Harris Col lege. The Department of Speech and Theatre Is a newly or ganized section of the Fine Arts Deportment. With the addition of this area to its fine arts program Young Harris College now offers an Associate of Fine Arts degree wlh majors in these areas: art, music, and speech and theatre. Robert R. Pevitts is chair man of the newly organized department and his wife, Bev erly Byers Pevitts, is an in structor in the speech and theatre areas. Mrs. Pevitts is directing the November production of "TheSklnof Our Teeth" and Mr. Pevitts is serving as designer and tech nical director. Thornton Wilder received his third Pulitzer Prize for "The Skin of Our Teeth", a play about the family of man which presents you ? the average American? at grips with a destiny, sometimes sour, sometimes sweet. The play is a tribute to man's indestructibility and as such is as applicable to man today as it was 26 years ago. The student cast is led by Phil Hutcheson (Atlanta) playing Mr. Antrobus, Phyllis Ghioto (Jacksonville, Fla.),as Mrs. Antrobus and Melanie Cobb (Waynesboro) as Sabina. Jeff Strickland (Atlanta ) and Dottie McKay (Covington) are cast as the Antrobuses son and daughter. (AHTNC)--Arniy Chaplain (Major) Calvin G. Causey (right), son of Mr. and Mrs. Moss S. Causey, Route 3, Murphy, receives the Army Commendation Medal during ceremonies at Ft. Leavenworth, Kan., Oct. II. Presenting the award is Colonel David S. Henderson, assistant commandant of the U. S. Army Command and General Staff College at the fort. Chaplain Causey received the award for meritorious service during his last assignment in the Student Brigade, at Ft. Benning, Ga., from May 1966 to July 1967. Chaplain Causey is a student at the U. S. Army Command and General Staff College, at Ft. Leavenworth. He entered the Army in April 1956. The chaplain graduated in 1948 from North Fulton High School, Atlanta, Ga., and received his B. A. degree in 1952 from Emory University, Atlanta, Ga. His wife, Patricia, lives at 440-9 Kearny, Ft. Leavenworth, Kan. Chaplain Causey was pastor of the Church of the Nazarene, Salisbury. N.
