in a Haywood County nursing
home after a long Illness.
A native of Cherokee Cou
nty, Mrs. Grant was a former
school teacher in the county
and city school systems.
Surviving are three daugh
ters, Mrs. Louise Rogers and
Mrs. Charles Delaney of An
drews and Mrs. Ben Dillahunt
of Knoxville, Tenn, a son Or.
Benjamin P. Grant of Franklin;

great-grandchildren.
Services - were at 3:30 p.
m. Monday in Andrews First
Baptist Church of which she
was a member.
The Rev. Thomas Wells
officiated. Burial was in Val
ley Town Cemetery.
